How Glidma handles your data
Privacy and security aren’t a policy we bolted on — they’re core to how Glidma is built. Here’s exactly what that means in practice.
Plain language, not a legal wall of text. Last updated July 2026.
The numbers you type into the calculator — balance, age, withdrawal rate, and similar figures. If you choose to save a scenario, we store the email address associated with your sign-in and nothing else. You can sign in either with a one-time email link, or with Google sign-in — if you use Google, our sign-in provider (Clerk) receives basic profile info as part of that standard flow, but Glidma itself only ever stores your email address, never your name, photo, or any other Google account data. We never ask for your fund name, member number, or any identifying account details.
We do not sell your data or share it with insurers, funds, or advertisers — including as aggregated or de-identified data. Your figures are used only to calculate the scenario you asked for. We don't run ad-tracking pixels, and any usage analytics we use is privacy-first by design, not tools that build an advertising profile of you.
We will never call, text, or email you asking you to confirm your balance, log in through a link, or "verify" your account. We're not your super fund and we can't access or move your money. If you ever get a message like that claiming to be from Glidma, it isn't us — please don't act on it.
You can use the full calculator with no account and no email — nothing leaves your browser unless you choose to save a scenario. Closing the tab clears everything.
Like any online service, we rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run Glidma, each processing data on our behalf under contract and never for their own purposes: Clerk (handles sign-in, including Google sign-in — see above), Supabase (stores your saved scenarios and account details, hosted in Sydney), Resend (sends the email link when you sign in or save a scenario), and Vercel (hosts the app itself). None of them use your data to build advertising profiles or sell it onward.
